Hama Village doesn't mean hippopotamus drinking water. The ‘Ha’ in Hama means a horse and ‘Ma’ means ‘below’ when written in Chinese characters. Hama means that a classical scholar got off a horse and took a rest here while traveling a long way. To that extent, Hama Village is a good place with clean, clear air, marvelous nature and landscape, with warm affection and village ladies with good cooking skills. In such a great place, Hama Village Agricultural Association Corporation has been keeping the taste of old tradition with ladies in this village.

Gahyang Foods keeps the tradition which has been gradually disappearing by making products using the traditional methods without artificial additives, but adding modern taste and design to give everyone of all ages and genders access to traditional healthy tastes (taffy, syrup) without reluctance. Gahyang Foods is operated together by the village residents.

Sunchang Rice Taffy was established as a community company with village residents in 2013. Sunchang Rice Taffy manufactures traditional rice taffy only using agricultural, products from Sunchang and traditional method inherited in the area from long ago in a hygienic facility. Sunchang Rice Taffy sells Sunchang Chili Paste made with rice taffy and bellflower root syrup made by grinding the bellflower root which it developed with the support from Sunchang Microbial Industry Promotion Agency.

Sunchang Seoji Village makes fruit juice products good for health with arrowroot, schisandra fruit, blueberry, raspberry, and mulberry all containing the spirit of the mountain within the village, the first village on Naejangsan Mountain. Seoji Village residents process the fruits they cultivate. Have the juice from Seoji Village without any worries.
