- Janggunmok- trimmed by waves for tens of thousands of years
- The representative scene among the marvelous scenes of Janggunmok are the rocks in fantastic shapes that have trimmed by waves for tens of thousands of years. The rocks look as if a dragon passes by right before. There is Chamber Pot Rock at the midpoint of Janggunmok Masil Bridge.
- Seomjingang tour with campers
- If using a pedal bike to watch the white rocks here and there in the river, and you can meet also reach the Masil Auto-Camping Site. Children have fun in the water here and there and moms are trying to catch Daesuri. Daesuri is the Jeolla-do dialect for marsh snails. Seomjingang marsh snails are boiled to make soup, mixed with rice, or seasoned and served as a side dish.
- Traces of history along the Seomjingang
- As you go down along the Seomjingang River appreciating the twinkling waves, and you will arrive at the birthplace of Kim Sejong, the mastersinger of Eastern Pansori. In this area, a variety of cultural heritages including Eoeunjeong Pavillion and Guamjeong Pavillion greet visitors.
- Rock containing lots of legends and stories
- There is a huge rock halfway up the mountain that can be seen even from a far distance. The rock is called Hwasanong as it was said to become white when a good harvest was expected and black when a poor harvest was expected. It became blue when a serious fire would occur or there would be several casualties, and red when a war would occur or natural disasters would approach.

- Path Starting from Hyangga Recreation Area
- Pedal a bike along the wide road after the point where two rivers meet. Beautiful scenery is deployed every place that you pass by. The big mountain behind the Daega Mineral Spring is Okchulsan Mountain. The clear water gushes out of a mineral spring.
- Run along the bikeway from the point where two rivers meet and as enjoying the Sunchang-eup comes closer. The area around Sunchang IC on the 88 Expressway is the border between Sacheon and Gyeongcheon. The branch joins the Seomjingang River at the Hyangga Recreation Area.
- Meet the trace of Seol Jin-yeong, the anti-Japanese activist
- The reading room of Seol Jin-yeong is in Geumgwa Dongjeon Village. Seol Jin-yeong struggled for independence, organizing the Righteous Army with Gi Wu-man from Jangseong, Jeollanam-do. Seol Jin-yeong is the patriot drowning itself in the well in front of the reading room, opposing the change of name into a Japanese name, as well as devoting himself to the development of patriots and scholarly research he held after the forced annexation of Korea in 1910.
- Geumgwa, the western border of Sunchang
- Geumgwa-myeon is the setting of the first Korean fiction “Tale of Seol Gong-chan”. “Tale of Seol Gong-chan” criticized the limits of Confucian philosophy, politics, and society at that time. The tale is the only fiction recorded in the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty. It had a substantial impact on the popularization of fiction.
