Gangcheonsan Mountain

Gangcheonsan Mountain was also called ‘Yeongcheonsan Mountain’ because it looks like a dragon ascending to heaven, strongly swinging its tail. Gangcheonsan Mountain was also called ‘Sogeumgang Mountain in Southwestern Region’ as deep a valley, clear water, and rocks with fantastic shapes and cliffs create a superb and harmonious view.
Designated as the first provincial park in Korea in 1981, Gangcheonsan Mountain presents a different yet elegant view every season. Azalea, forsythia and cherry blossom swell in the spring, cool falls and valley clear away the sizzling heat of the summer, and Korean maple (Acer pseudosieboldianum) lined closely together instigates hiking in the autumn. In winter, snow stirs the heart with white snowflakes covering the entire world in white and the suspension bridge presents the culmination of a snowy white landscape.
The Barefoot Trail is about 5km roundtrip, and the magnificent view of Gujanggun Falls from 120m high induces exclamations from people.
