• National Immigration Offices or Branch Offices
• City·County·Province and Eup·Myeon·Dong

Applicant for the certificate issuance

• Principal
• The person who is entrusted from legal agent of principal or principal
• In case that the principal is not able to express his/her intention due to disappearance, death, etc. or it is clearly used for the profit of the principal, a spouse of principal, lineal ascendant·descendant or sibling(in case that a spouse of principal died, lineal ascendant·descendant or sibling of a spouse of principal)
• The person who hired a foreigner, who has already left the country, or the agent of the employer
• Litigant or litigation representatives related to suit·deposit·execution
• The person concerned with claim-obligation relationship

Required documents

• Identification card(the same applies to the identification card below)
  • Nation : resident registration certificate, driver’s license and passport
  • Foreigner : alien registration certificate, residence registration document of Korean with foreign nationality and passport

Fee

• 2,000 won(immigration office's revenue stamp, local government's revenue certificate stamp)
